Adrenochrome: Are Elites Torturing Children For A Youth Drug?

Caleb May 02 2026

Did you know that a 2020 film called "Cuties" sparked a massive controversy about adrenochrome? And that QAnon believers claim Hollywood elites torture children to extract this substance for its youth-giving properties? The adrenochrome conspiracy is one of the darkest and most disturbing theories in modern times.

Mysterious satellite dish against stars

Context:

Adrenochrome is a real chemical compound produced by the oxidation of adrenaline. It was studied in the 1950s and 1960s for possible psychological effects. In Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," it's described as a powerful hallucinogen - though this was fictional.

The modern adrenochrome conspiracy emerged from QAnon, the sprawling conspiracy movement claiming a "deep state" cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles controls the world. Adrenochrome became central to QAnon's narrative of elite evil.

Evidence:

QAnon posts and online forums claim that Hollywood celebrities and Democratic politicians participate in secret rituals where children are tortured to death, causing their bodies to release adrenochrome. The substance is allegedly harvested and used as a youth elixir by the elite.

Some point to "missing children" statistics as evidence. They claim thousands of children vanish daily for this purpose. Certain movies are analyzed for "clues" - the 1973 film "The Wicker Man" involves child sacrifice, and symbols in children's movies are interpreted as admissions.

The 2020 film "Cuties" on Netflix became a flashpoint. Critics claimed it "normalized" the sexualization of children and was part of Hollywood's pedophile agenda. QAnon believers saw it as proof of their theories.

Celebrity interviews are combed for "admissions." Tom Hanks, Oprah, and others are named as participants based on nothing more than fame and liberal politics.

Counterpoint:

Adrenochrome has no youth-giving properties. It's not harvested from living humans. The idea is medically absurd - the body doesn't produce harvestable quantities, and it has no effect on aging. This is pure fiction.

The "missing children" statistics are wildly inflated. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reports most missing children are runaways or family abductions, and the vast majority return safely. There's no evidence of mass child sacrifice.

QAnon's claims have been repeatedly debunked. The movement originated on internet forums with anonymous posters claiming insider knowledge. No credible evidence supports any of its central claims. The FBI has identified QAnon as a domestic terrorism threat."Cuties" was a critically acclaimed film about a young girl's struggle with societal pressures, not about pedophilia. Its controversy was manufactured by those seeking evidence for their theories.
